Skysports.com understands a number of clubs are weighing up moves for former Hibernian midfielder Kevin McBride. McBride is available on a free transfer after being released by Hibs earlier this summer. The 30-year-old, who joined Hibs from Falkirk in the summer of 2009, captained Hibs last season, but following the arrival of Colin Calderwood he found himself out of favour at Easter Road. A number of clubs north and south of the border have now been alerted to his availability on a free transfer and McBride's agent, Clive Hart, has confirmed he is weighing up his options. "Kevin is an attractive proposition for a number of clubs as he is available on a free transfer," Hart told skysports.com. "Kevin is keen to find himself a new club and he has been working hard over the summer on his fitness so that he is ready to hit the ground running "I am talking to a number of clubs and we will weigh up our options about where to go."
