Midfielder says he wants to remain in Glasgow

Beram Kayal has handed Celtic a boost by insisting he wants to stay at Parkhead next season. The Israeli playmaker has been a key performer for the Hoops this term after arriving from Maccabi Haifa last summer. His performances for Celtic in the SPL have reportedly turned heads in the Premier League. But the 23-year-old, who missed the Hoops' Scottish Cup final triumph over Motherwell with a wrist injury, claims he has no plans to move away from Glasgow. He told the Daily Record: "It was great to end the season by winning the Cup. It was a great feeling even though I wasn't playing. "Hopefully, this success will be continued next season with me still here." Meanwhile, utility player Efrain Juarez has revealed he is set to quit Parkhead in the summer. The Mexican has made just five SPL starts since arriving from native club Pumas for a reported £3million last July. He said: "I want to play every week so if I get an attractive offer and Celtic agree why not go to another team?"
