Midfielder set for more talks over new deal

Republic of Ireland international Liam Miller insists he is ready to sign a new deal to stay at Hibernian. The 30-year-old's current contract expires in the summer and he could leave on a free transfer. However, the former Celtic and Manchester United man is ready to pledge his future to Hibs and has held talks with Easter Road boss Colin Calderwood. "I spoke to the manager two weeks ago and hopefully I will be speaking to him over the next week or so and see what happens from there," Miller told the Daily Record. "I've told him I want to stay and hopefully we can do something. I definitely want to stay because I can see positive signs here. "There are a lot of very good young lads with plenty of talent. The manager is mixing all the players together - young and old - and with the experience we are gaining together that can only do us good for next year."
