Brown happy to keep midfielder after interest from other clubs

Aberdeen midfielder Robert Milsom has secured a two-year contract at Pittodrie after impressing since joining the club in January. Milsom has made 18 appearances since linking up with the Dons from Fulham, but was only under contract until the end of the season. However, the 24-year-old has now been rewarded with a long-term deal after attracting interest from rival SPL clubs. Dons boss Craig Brown said: "We are very pleased that Rob Milsom has signed a contract to stay with the club. "That is excellent for Aberdeen Football Club and he has made a good impact since he has come to the club. "All the correspondence and information I get from the fans is that he is a very popular player here. (He is) certainly very popular in the dressing room and with the staff so we are delighted about that signing. "There was interest from other SPL clubs so we are very, very pleased to have managed to get Rob signed at Aberdeen." Teenager Clark Robertson, who has made 10 first-team appearances this season, has also signed a two-year deal.
