Rangers' Kyle Hutton is hoping to continue to feature for the club next season even if new manager Ally McCoist strengthens his side.
The talented young midfielder has been one of a number of Gers youngsters to have made a breakthrough into the club's first team this term.
It is thought that McCoist could be given money to spend in the summer to bring in reinforcements, although Hutton hopes that he will have done enough to impress the new boss.
Hutton is pleased with his Ibrox progress to date and believes he will continue to improve the more matches he plays for the Scottish giants.
"If investment comes in, Coisty is going to have to look at every position in the team," he said.
"I understand that but hopefully I've done enough to be in his plans and, if I am in his plans, I won't let him down.
"My aim just now is to try to get as many games as I can and hopefully get a run of games going.
"It's always going to be difficult for me to get a run of games because we have a lot of people coming back from injury but you never know. Hopefully I can get more games."
