On-loan Kilmarnock defender Ben Gordon is grateful for the chance to bolster his first-team experience at Rugby Park after moving from Chelsea.
The former Leeds youngster is behind the likes of Ashley Cole and Yuri Zhirkov in the Stamford Bridge pecking order.
Gordon spent time on loan with Tranmere last season and has now joined Kilmarnock in order to further his education.
The teenager has already faced Rangers this term and is now looking forward to doing battle with Celtic on home soil.
"Obviously it's very hard at Chelsea. There are a lot of quality players there," he told Sky Sports News.
"There's Ashley Cole and Yuri Zhirkov, maybe two of the best left-backs in the world, so obviously it's not going to be easy.
"It's hard for young players to get into the first team at Chelsea.
"The first game of the season was Rangers away. Now we've got Celtic at home. So I'm looking forward to it just as much.
"They are undefeated and they've yet to concede a goal so it's going to be tough for us. But we've got a good chance."
