Celtic striker Gary Hooper is hopeful he will make a return in time for Saturday's SPL match against Hearts.
The 22-year-old, who joined from Scunthorpe for £2.4million in the summer, has yet to make his league debut for the Hoops after tearing his calf in a pre-season friendly against Blackburn.
He has, however, taken a step up in his recovery and is hoping to play some part in Saturday's game at Celtic Park, where he could partner fellow new striker Anthony Stokes, who signed from Hibernian on deadline day.
