Mexico ace labels move 'best decision' possible

Celtic's newest signing Efrain Juarez has expressed his delight at sealing his move to the SPL giants. The Mexico international has signed a four-year contract with The Bhoys and will fly into Glasgow this week after securing his work permit. Juarez, who starred for his country in this summer's World Cup finals, met up with his new team-mates in Sunday's win over Seattle Sounders. The 22-year-old utility man can operate in a number of positions and is looking forward to helping Celtic reclaim the SPL title this season. "I'm so happy and excited because I had my first contact with the team, with the coaching staff, and they are as excited as I am," said Juarez. "I was with them for practically the whole day. I went to the friendly match and watched from the bench. "(Joining Celtic) is the best decision I could have taken because the team has given me all the confidence (I need) and my aim is to help keep the club up there in the position it belongs." Juarez has also paid tribute to Celtic manager Neil Lennon for his warm welcome. "The coach, Neil Lennon, is a great guy - a great person who welcomed me from the first moment," he concluded. "I am very grateful because they have welcomed me with open arms."
