Keeper waiting on Spurs move
Croatian keeper Stipe Pletikosa is still hoping he can finalise a move to Tottenham this summer.
The shot-stopper failed to come through medical tests in January ahead of a proposed switch from Spartak Moscow.
Indeed Pletikosa's medical cost Spurs dear, as another proposed target Asmir Begovic saw the Croat at the training ground and decided against a move because of their interest in him.
The 31-year-old then failed his medical as he is still overcoming a knee injury, but he is expected to be fully fit shortly.
That should mean that Pletikosa would be in a position to complete a move to Tottenham in the summer, something which he hopes transpires.
"We were talking but we were not able to complete the transfer," Pletikosa told Jutarnji list.
"But we made a deal and will look again at that in the summer and I really hope luck will be on my side this time.
"I was shown a great deal of respect by Tottenham and I am grateful to the coach Harry Redknapp."
