Kilmarnock midfielder Craig Bryson believes Robbie Keane's arrival is good for the SPL despite spoiling his debut party.
The Tottenham striker joined Celtic on loan on transfer deadline day, but he failed to score as Killie emerged with a surprise 1-0 win on Tuesday at Rugby Park.
Bryson does not mind that Keane's arrival makes the Bhoys stronger as he believes the Scottish game will benefit from his Premier League switch.
"I just thought it was an absolutely great signing for Celtic and the SPL in general," said Bryson.
Good for the league
"If they can attract players like that to the SPL, it can only be good for the league."
Bryson recognised Falkirk's shock victory at Aberdeen had "taken the shine" off Killie's win, who are now two points clear of Hamilton.
"It's just made that result massive for us," said Bryson of the Bairns' win.
"If we don't take confidence from this win then we'll never get any confidence in this league.
"They're massive days in my life and my career and I'll enjoy them for the rest of my life."
