The former Portsmouth youngster has signed a pre-contract agreement and will link up with Falkirk when the transfer window reopens in January.
Falkirk's head of football development, Ross Wilson, revealed the club beat a host of sides to Compton's signature.
"We are delighted to have secured Jack's signature," Wilson told skysports.com.
