Falkirk have confirmed they are poised to sign French midfielder Toufik Zerara.
As revealed by skyports.com earlier this week Zerara was the mystery player Falkirk were hoping to sign.
Falkirk are now just awaiting international clearance before tying up a move for the former Sochaux youngster.
Bairns boss Eddie May is hoping to have the 23-year-old available for this weekend's clash with Hibernian.
"We are just waiting for international clearance and when that comes through he'll be joining us," May told the Daily Record.
"Everything else is done, he's agreed a short-term deal, and hopefully the clearance will come through before the game.
"He's been with us for a couple of weeks and he's done well in that time. He gives us another option because the injuries we have at the moment to the likes of Jackie McNamara, Burton O'Brien and Tam Scobbie are long term."
