Jean-Joel Perrier-Doumbe has put pen-to-paper on a two year deal with Ligue 1 side Toulouse.
The former Celtic full-back had spent the last two-weeks on trial with Les Violets, who have been struck by injuries in defence.
Having fallen out of contract in the summer, the Cameroon international sought the perfect opportunity to play regular football.
Delighted with the deal, he told the club's official website:"I am very happy to have joined Toulouse.
"After long injury problems and difficult moments I am happy to be given the opportunity to play again."
He admitted regular football became a priority in order for him to maintain his place in the Cameroon national team.
"The World Cup with Cameroon is and objective to me," he said. "My dream as a footballer is playing in a World Cup.
"Toulouse can help me realise that dream, hopefully I can help them achieve their ambition."
