Celtic boss Gordon Strachan insists Shaun Maloney is ready to finally return to the side for the title run-in.
Maloney could return to action against Aberdeen this weekend after being restricted to just one appearance in four months because of a hamstring problem.
The Scottish international visited world-renowned specialist Dr Hans Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt to get to the bottom of the hamstring injury.
Strachan is now ready to unleash Maloney with fellow strikers Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink and Georgios Samaras both carrying injuries.
"Shaun will play a part in the run-in, there's no doubt about that," Strachan told Celtic View.
"Will we be careful with him? We don't have time to be careful.
"It's not a physical problem with Shaun now. It's just getting things clear in his head that he is fine now."
