Madjid Bougherra says Rangers must play for three points every game if they are to lift the SPL trophy - even if it means winning ugly.
The Ibrox side have been highly criticised for their recent negative style of play which was intensified after the Co-operative Insurance Cup final defeat to Celtic.
But tough-tackling defender Bougherra believes points far outweigh performances at this stage of the season.
"We need to win every game," the 26-year-old said.
"There are ten games left and we have to win them all because we are three points behind Celtic.
"We have no choice. Every game will be very difficult but we have to win.
"When you play at home, you have to do your best for the fans and you have to play football because we are a big team.
"But now we are at the stage where we have to win. Three points is the most important thing. With or without football, it doesn't matter."
Algerian Bougherra is facing a desperate race against time to shake off a calf injury and prove he will be fit enough to feature in today's SPL clash with Hearts.
