Celtic striker Scott McDonald would like manager Gordon Strachan to remain at Parkhead 'forever'.
Former Southampton and Coventry boss Strachan lifted his sixth trophy as Hoops coach since he took over in 2005 as they defeated rivals Rangers in the Co-Operative Insurance Cup final on Sunday.
And Australian forward McDonald has lauded the Scot, who is currently on course to lead the club to a seventh SPL title.
"I love working with the manager and the coaching staff, they have been fantastic for me since I came to this club," said McDonald.
"I want the gaffer to stay forever, for as long as he wants to.
"Once again it's another trophy in the cabinet for the club and the manager.
"He has been phenomenal since he came to the club, his record speaks for itself and hopefully we can win another one before the end of the season."
