Kilmarnock have suffered a blow with the news that skipper James Fowler faces a spell on the sidelines through injury.
Fowler picked up a foot injury during last weekend's Scottish Cup defeat to Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
Scans have confirmed Fowler has sustained a broken metatarsal which is set to rule him out of action for up to six weeks.
Killie boss Jim Jefferies was disappointed to lose the versatile performer.
"It's a huge blow because he's such a consistent player for us," Jefferies told the Daily Record.
