Hamilton are closing in on the loan signings of Celtic striker Paul McGowan and Rangers defender Jordan McMillan.
McGowan enjoyed a successful spell with Morton in 2006/07 and made his UEFA Champions League debut for Celtic against Villarreal in December.
McMillan is Rangers' reserve captain and has been named on the bench for the first team on a number of occasions this season, without making an appearance.
Both players are now set to join Hamilton on loan until the end of the season and will be available for the Scottish Cup clash with Ross County at the weekend.
Accies manager Billy Reid is looking forward to working with the pair and hopes they can help Hamilton climb the SPL table.
"We're a club who give young players a chance and this is a fantastic platform for guys like Jordan and Paul to come to," Reid said in the Daily Record.
"They have had a great schooling at the Old Firm and have great desire and attitude to make it in the game.
"Paul is only 21 but when he was on loan at Morton last year he did superbly well.
"I've known Jordan since he was 12 and he's been at Rangers since he was 10. He's their reserve captain and I know they think highly of him.
"I hope both of them can come here and fulfil their potential."
