Inverness star Don Cowie says he is in no rush to sign a new deal at the club.
Cowie, who is out of contract at the end of the season, has been offered a new deal by Caley.
The 25-year-old is believed to be attracting interest from clubs in Scotland and England, and Cowie admits he is keeping his options open.
"My contract is up in the summer and I spoke with the manager in the close season," Cowie told the Daily Record.
"It's something I'm taking my time over. The manager is fully aware of that and he's letting me get on with it.
"It's flattering to be linked with other clubs, it gives you confidence.
"But there have maybe been times this season when I've not been as good as last year. As a footballer you set yourself high standards and you have to try to progress every game and every year."
