Invincibile & Fowler in contract talks

Kilmarnock are in talks with Danny Invincibile and James Fowler over new deals at Rugby Park. Striker Invincibile and midfielder Fowler are both out of contract at the end of the season and could leave for nothing. Killie boss Jim Jefferies is keen to keep the influential duo and he is confident both players will extend their stays at the SPL outfit. "Danny and James are happy to stay so it's just a case of the chairman sitting down with them and trying to sort something out," Jefferies told the Daily Record.

Great

"They have both been great for us. Danny sometimes doesn't get the praise he deserves but he works a great shift for the team. "James is Mr Consistent. I moved him into the centre of midfield and he was great there but I've also been able to use him at full-back or wide right. "He also works extremely hard and does a great job for the team. He may not catch a lot of people's eyes because we have the flamboyancy of Taouil or Fernandez but James is solid and he brings a great balance to the team."
