Kenny Miller insists the disappointment of missing out on Champions League action this week has left Rangers even more determined to clinch the SPL title.
The Scotland striker admits Rangers' European exit at the hands of FBK Kaunas really hit home as they watched Celtic, and the rest of the continent's top teams, launch their campaigns in Europe's premier club competition.
He knows the only way to ensure Rangers avoid missing out next time around is to wrestle the SPL title from Celtic's grasp and guarantee entry into the group stage.
Disappointed"We are still disappointed by that result," Miller told the Scottish Sun.
"If anything, it hits home even harder this week with the Champions League starting again.
"We know we should be playing in it. A club of this size, with the squad we have, should have got through.
"It's done now and we just have to make sure we are crowned champions and go straight into the Champions League group stage.
"That's got to be our goal."
