Sone Aluko has expressed his delight after securing a permanent move to Aberdeen.
Aluko spent time on loan at Pittodrie last season before returning to Birmingham.
He joined Blackpool on an emergency loan deal in August but Jimmy Calderwood snapped him up for an undisclosed fee on Monday.
"It's great to be back at Aberdeen," Aluko said in the Daily Record.
"But while I was pleased with my form last season, I know there's so much more to come from me.
"You have a different mentality as a loan player which can sometimes affect your performances.
"Now I'm aiming to show what I can do on a consistent basis."
Aluko is hoping that he can fire the Dons back into Europe after playing his part in their Uefa Cup run last season.
"I already have wonderful memories of my career here and I want more," he explained.
"The home Uefa Cup game with Bayern Munich was a highlight and I'd love nothing more than to repay the boss by helping us qualify for the Uefa Cup again."
