Jean-Claude Darcheville has insisted he is 'excited' by the prospect of fighting for his place in Rangers' first-team.
Gers boss Walter Smith has bolstered his attack with the summer signings of Kenny Miller, Andrius Velicka and Kyle Lafferty.
Darcheville, though, has welcomed the competition and dispelled any potential rumours of him leaving Ibrox in search of a guaranteed starting role.
"The fact Rangers have brought in three new strikers doesn't worry me - it excites me," he said.
"It's fantastic news that the club is looking to strengthen and that's why I will be there next season.
"I see a lot of potential at Rangers, I love the club and I am settled in Scotland. I don't want to leave."
