Schalke winger Peter Lovenkrands has insisted he knows nothing about speculation linking him with a return to Rangers.
Lovenkrands joined Schalke from the Scottish side in 2006 but he struggled to impress last season.
Reports have suggested that Schalke are ready to offload the 28-year-old and he is aware of rumours connecting him with a move back to Glasgow.
"Yes, I can read in the papers all the time that I am going to Rangers," Lovenkrands stated.
"But I don't know anything about that."
Schalke are also understood to be keen on selling Soren Larsen, who like Lovenkrands failed to score in the Bundesliga last term.
Agent Ivan Marko Benes, who represents both Danish players, has hinted that Larsen could be on his way this summer.
"Soren Larsen should get playing time now, either at Schalke or elsewhere," Benes told BT.
"Regarding Lovenkrands, I have no comments."
