Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Craig Brewster has confirmed he is in talks over a move for Ross County striker Andrew Barrowman.
The 23-year-old has been in inspired form for the Scottish Second Division champions this season, netting 29 goals.
Brewster is keen to bolster his front line with the addition of Barrowman, but admits he faces stern competition in securing his signature.
"I am speaking to Andrew's agent and we will see what happens," Brewster told The Press and Journal. "I think he has other opportunities and I will speak more about him if we get lucky.
"I do not know how many other clubs are in for him but I do know I need goals in my team. I have been looking everywhere for players.
"It can be strange at times as players can go to a club and feel it is the right environment for them and things happens for them.
"At other times you can go to a club and it does not feel right. I have to spot the talent first and when the player agrees to come to the club that's when they have to be happy with the surroundings."
