Liam Craig insists his focus is on getting back into the Falkirk team, rather than worrying about a new contract.

The young midfielder has been restricted to just six substitute appearances in the SPL this season, having been a prominent figure in the previous campaign.

He acknowledged his frustration at his lack of playing time this term, but is determined to force his way back into John Hughes' side.

"I'm disappointed at the lack of games I've had this year," said Craig in the Daily Record. "I didn't come here to play reserves, I want to play every Saturday.

"I was kicking on last season and I feel when I've come into the team this year I've done okay.

"I've got to wait for my chance and go in to try and stake a claim to start every week.

"I love it at the club and I'm not worried about the contract yet. I'm just focusing on getting back in the team."
