Hearts midfielder Neil McCann is set to resume training after a six-month injury lay-off.
The 33-year-old suffered a horror leg break against Celtic in August, but has made a remarkable recovery, and should be available for first-team action in the New Year.
"I'd say that Neil is maybe two or three weeks away from joining in training sessions full out," assistant head coach Stephen Frail told Hearts News.
"He has been doing a lot of work with the physios as well as running, sprinting, ball work, twisting and turning and that kind of thing.
"It was a horrible injury and I can't believe the stage he is at already. He has worked incredibly hard and at times we have had to rein him in a bit as he wants to get back as quickly as he can."
