Celtic full-back Lee Naylor is putting a recent loss of form behind him and looking to the future.
The ex-Wolves player took the SPL by storm following his £600,000 switch from English football but then suffered an inexplicable loss of form.
But he showed the right spirit and got on with the job, and now thinks he is back to his best form.
Naylor, 27, told the Daily Record: "When you're doing things well everything just seems to come naturally.
"But when things suddenly go wrong you think, 'What's happened here?'.
"But these things happen in football and it's not as if I've just come into the game.
Experience
"I've been through 10 seasons as a professional and experience prepares you for the downside, whatever it may be. The important thing is to keep your head down and work hard in training.
"Then you have to get back out on the field, show that you want the ball and get back to doing what you're good at.
"I feel I've got my best form back now. The bad patch is behind me and I'm looking forward to the games ahead.
"I'm back on top of my game and I think Aiden McGeady and myself have been working really well down the left-hand side of the field."
Naylor is thriving on the workload which comes from playing in the both the domestic and European competitions.
He said: "Players like to be busy. When you're playing well you just want the games to keep coming.
Demands
"I feel the team is really starting to play well and I think we have a squad who have shown they can cope with the demands of playing at home and abroad.
"There's also energy to burn in the side and everyone is feeling really fit and strong."
But Naylor believes there is still better to come, adding: "The gaffer wanted a team that's basically perpetual motion this season and I think we've been a lot more attack minded.
"When we're on form we've played some really unbelievable stuff. It makes us a side that's good to watch and even better to play for.
"The defence has come in for some criticism in the media, but I don't know where that comes from. We're a good unit who've been unsettled at times and we've kept our focus as part of the team.
"I think we've yet to reach our peak and I can't wait to see that happen."
