Rangers manager Walter Smith has revealed that Lee McCulloch will be fit for Saturday's Old Firm clash against Celtic.

McCulloch limped off during Scotland's 3-1 win over Ukraine after he fell awkwardly on his ankle, and there were fears his injury would keep him out of the game at Ibrox.

But Smith has now confirmed that the former Wigan man will be available. However, the Gers boss faces a wait over the fitness of duo Alan Hutton and Allan McGregor.

The pair were forced to withdraw from Scotland duty after suffering injuries.

Treatment

Hutton strained a calf against Ukraine, while McGregor sustained an arm injury on the eve of the match at Hampden Park.

"Lee will be fine. He missed a couple of days of training but he will be fit for Saturday," Smith told the club's official website.

"Both Alan Hutton and Allan McGregor have been getting treatment this week and we are hopeful they will be okay."
