Pearce returns to County

Defender Krystian Pearce has returned to Notts County at the end of his three-month loan spell at Barnet.

The centre-half, 22, made 17 appearances for the Bees after moving to Underhill in September, and formed an impressive partnership alongside David Stephens. Stevenage loanee Andy Iro, who has been an unused substitute for the last two matches, could make his debut when Barnet head to Dagenham on Saturday. But head coach Edgar Davids admits whoever comes into the side will have some big boots to fill following Pearce's departure. He said: "He'll be a massive loss. He was one of the pillars of the team. "It's too bad for us, but I hope he will get an opportunity at his club."
