League Two outfit Northampton have signed midfielder Ben Harding on loan from Wycombe until the end of the season.

Harding started his career at Wimbledon and subsequently played for MK Dons before moving to Aldershot in 2007, making over 150 appearances and scoring 11 goals for the Hampshire club. The 27-year-old, who has more than 250 career appearances to his name, joined Wycombe in the summer of 2011. "Ben is a very cultured central midfield player. He is a good size and has played in promotion winning sides before," said Town boss Aidy Boothroyd. "He is a good professional, he has a good amount of experience and I want to bring in players who are capable of playing at a higher level to help get us out of the position we are in."
