Winger Ian Morris could cap a remarkable return to fitness by featuring in Torquay's FA Cup tie against Chesterfield on Saturday.
Morris underwent surgery to remove a piece of bone floating in his knee less than four weeks ago, and was originally predicted to be out for at least two months. However, he played 88 minutes of a reserve-team match with Brighton on Tuesday, scoring a goal, and Gulls manager Martin Ling said he will now be included in the matchday squad to face the Spireites. "Ian's done really well in training and come back a lot quicker than expected," Ling told BBC Devon. "Ian will be in the 18 and if he does well he may well be in the first 11."
