Romone Rose has returned to parent club QPR following his loan spell at League Two outfit Torquay.
The winger linked-up with the Gulls on a three-month deal but has been sent back to London after falling out of favour at Plainmoor.
Rose scored on his home debut for Paul Buckle's team but has since struggled to hold down a regular first-team berth.
Buckle said: "He has done very well for us, although he lost his place during the winning run, and the picture changes so quickly in football."
Meanwhile, Buckle is looking to sort out the futures of Martin Gritton and Joe Oastler, with the duo's loans set to expire.
"We're talking to Martin and we're talking to Chesterfield," added Buckle. "Joe Oastler has come in and done very well, so we'll also address that one before it expires."
