Labadie joins permanently and Taylor signs extension

Tranmere Rovers have clinched the signing of Joss Labadie and have also handed Ash Taylor a contract extension. Labadie has agreed a two-year deal to join Rovers on a permanent basis after an impressive loan spell from West Bromwich Albion. He has since been released by West Brom and Rovers boss Les Parry feels the teenage midfielder fully deserves his deal at Prenton Park. Parry said: "Joss really impressed us during his time on loan at the club. "He was hard working, professional and performed well on the pitch." Meanwhile, the versatile Taylor has accepted a one-year extension to his contract which ties him to the League One club until 2012. "Ash did really well for us last season and I'm delighted we have been able to extend his contract," added Parry. "He's versatile, hard working and enthusiastic and he deserves this extension. "He is yet another great example of the talented youngsters the club has developed through its Centre of Excellence and youth system."
