Macclesfield Town have completed the signing of Torquay midfielder Adam Murray.
The Gulls first revealed on Monday that they would be losing the player - who only moved to Plainmoor in August - due to unspecified family problems.
Now Paul Ince's Macclesfield have raided the only club below them in the league ladder to bring the midfielder to Moss Rose.
Former England youth international Murray has signed a two-and-a-half year deal with The Silkmen and joins for an undisclosed five-figure fee.
Murray made 24 appearances for Torquay after joining from Carlisle for a fee of £10,000, and will now look to help Ince in his mission to pull Macclesfield clear of danger.
