Midfielder Will Hatfield has signed a new one-year contract at Accrington Stanley.
The 21-year-old scored six goals in 34 appearances last season and is looking to build on that form under new boss James Beattie. "Last season finished on a high for us," he said. "There's been a lot of change during the off season but James Beattie has come in as manager now and I think there are exciting times ahead. "Everything was a bit up in the air but it soon got sorted out and I'm delighted to sign. "Everyone is friendly here and it's really a family club. With James Beattie and Paul Stephenson in charge I think that we're going to have a really good season."
