New Accrington boss Leam Richardson was pleased to see Will Hatfield end his drought with four goals against AFC Fylde.
Hatfield scored twice in the first half and twice more in the second for his first goals of the season before Adam Farrell netted a late consolation.
"I had a little chat with Will on Friday, asking him how many games it's been since he scored? And he pops up with four, I'm made up for him," said Richardson.
"I think it was 13 games without a goal for Will and I'd told him it's his last - I think he's just earned himself another 13 with that.
"He's got that habit, that's why I brought him to the club in the first place, he showed last year how much of a goalscorer he is.
"He'll score goals in most games so to score four in the FA Cup, he can take that throughout his career and no-one can take that away from him."
