A number of Saturday's games have had to be postponed due to the cold snap sweeping the country.

Last weekend's fixture list was decimated by the freezing conditions and a number of games in the Football League have already fallen by the wayside.

The Championship clash between Crystal Palace and Doncaster at Selhurst Park has been called off after the ground failed a pitch inspection on Friday morning.

Temperatures continued to plunge overnight and a decision was taken on Saturday morning to scrap Peterborough's home match against West Ham.

Barnsley's clash at home to Birmingham has also been postponed because of a frozen pitch at Oakwell.

MK Dons' League One clash at home to Bury has been postponded due to a frozen pitch, as has Brentford's League One match against Oldham at Griffin Park.

Carlisle's long trip to Stevenage has also been postponed because of a frozen pitch.

Colchester's trip to Walsall has been called off again because of a frozen pitch, along with Leyton Orient versus Huddersfield, Chesterfield against Charlton and Yeovil's clash with Scunthorpe.

Rochdale's home game against Notts County has also been postponed after the Spotland pitch failed a pitch inspection.

Tranmere's game with Preston at Prenton Park is also off after a pitch inspection on Saturday morning.

In League Two, Swindon's visit to Barnet has been called off as well as Accrington Stanley's home clash with Oxford United and Plymouth's trip to Macclesfield.

Port Vale's home clash with Crewe, Bradford's trip to AFC Wimbledon and Dagenham & Redbridge's game at home to Northampton have also failed to beat the freeze.

Burton's match at home to Gillingham is another casualty of the weather, as well as Crawley against Aldershot.
