Taylor lands Stanley deal

Rookie striker Nat Taylor has agreed a deal to join Accrington Stanley following a successful trial.

The 18-year-old has penned non-contract terms to allow him to be involved at Northampton on Saturday, with a view to him signing permanently next week. "It's obviously every teenage player's dream to become a professional," said Taylor. "It goes to show that all the hard work I've put in over the years has paid off. "My ambition now is to just get on the pitch. I just want to play games for Accrington. That's my aim." Meanwhile, the long-serving Leam Richardson has also agreed non-contract terms and will also be in the squad for the trip to Sixfields.
