Shaun Pejic has agreed a new two-year contract with League Two side Wrexham.

Pejic has been a regular first team fixture at the Racecourse Ground since making his debut six years ago.

The former Wales Under 21 international has been rewarded for his consistency with the new deal and he is now looking forward after the club narrowly avoided relegation to non-league football last season.

"It was a struggle at times last year," Pejic told the club's official website.

"Happily though we came through a difficult season and now I really do feel that things will get better.

"We showed in the last few games that we can play and it is important we carry on with that improvement.

"There have already been several important signings with Anthony Williams and Michael Proctor returning on a permanent basis, while Eifion Williams and Richard Hope have also joined us."
