John Toshack has called on Wrexham midfielder Chris Llewellyn to boost his depleted Wales squad for the upcoming games against Slovakia and Cyprus.
Wales have been hit by a raft of injuries ahead of the Euro 2008 double header with the likes of Ryan Giggs, James Collins, Mark Delaney and Sam Ricketts all sidelined.
MK Dons defender Craig Morgan and Yeovil's Arron Davies have already been drafted in and now Toshack has added Llewellyn to his ranks.
The 27-year-old last played for his country two years ago under the guidance of former boss Mark Hughes but will now hope to feature in the home games against Slovakia on Saturday and Cyprus on Wednesday.
Injury problems already mean Toshack is likely to utilise Rob Edwards as an emergency centre back as he attempts to improve on an opening defeat at the hands of Czech Republic.
