Daniel Nardiello scored a hat-trick as Bury beat CD Marino 7-1 in a pre-season friendly in Tenerife.
Nardiello's treble came after strike partner Ryan Lowe re-opened his Shakers account with his first goal since returning to the club for a second spell this summer. Lowe, whose strike came from the penalty spot, set up two of Nardiello's goals before the pair were subbed early in the second half. Bury physio Tom Walsh showed the professionals how it is done with two goals of his own before Tom Soares scored the seventh for David Flitcroft's side. CD Marino did manage a late consolation after a slip from new goalkeeper Shwan Jalal in the penalty box.
