Bury manager Kevin Blackwell hailed his young side after they came within a minute of beating form side Bournemouth.
Leading 2-1 after a real humdinger of a League One match at Gigg Lane, new Cherries loan capture Brett Pitman levelled in the dying seconds to make it 10 games unbeaten for Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe since his return from Burnley. Despite being pegged back so late in the game, Blackwell was delighted as his side are now on an encouraging run of just one defeat in eight games. Blackwell said: "That was a great advert for League One football - it really was. What a corking game it was. "I'm so proud of the players. We've got a lot of young lads in there and so it's currently a learning curve for a lot of them, but if they give me that kind of effort from here on in we won't go far wrong. "We proved again that we are a good side. Six weeks ago we just didn't know how to win, but now we're all so disappointed not to have won. We're all still learning, but we must be doing something right. We knew it was a big game for us, but despite their youth the lads have shown plenty of character once again."
