Mills released by Crawley

Sky Sports understands that defender Pablo Mills has left Crawley Town after the club won promotion to League One. Mills established himself as a key member of the Crawley side after arriving in the summer of 2010, helping them to two successive promotions from the Conference to League One. Mills, who received the Man of the Match award against Manchester United in the FA Cup last season, spoke with the club on Tuesday and it was confirmed he will not be retained next term. The 27-year-old's deal was due to expire this summer, with the club having an option to extend it, but they have decided to let their former skipper move on His agent, Gino Culbertson, confirmed Mills would be looking for a new club this summer. "Pablo was in integral part of the Crawley team that won back-to-back promotions and had such a great FA Cup run, so whilst he is naturally very sad, he feels it is time for a fresh challenge," Culbertson told Sky Sports. "He wishes the fans and the club every success next season in League One." Culbertson also confirmed that there had already been a number of calls from teams interested in signing Mills for next season.
