On-loan defender Ashley Eastham has called for consistency this weekend after Bury were knocked out of the FA Cup by Crawley.
The Shakers suffered the ignominy of a 2-0 home defeat to Steve Evans' League Two outfit in the first round of the famous competition last Saturday.
Ahead of the trip to Walsall, Eastham, on-loan from Blackpool, believes his Bury team-mates need to put a string of wins together.
"We're confident we can keep passing. But we must be more consistent and stronger and not conceding soft goals like we did," Eastham told the Manchester Evening News.
"We've got to toughen up at both ends of the pitch because, at 1-0, we had a couple of very good chances to get back into the game but didn't take them.
"Hopefully we can get that performance out of the way and crack on in the league this week. We want to put a string of results together and be consistent."
