Nugent: Shakers no pushovers

Leicester's David Nugent has warned his team-mates to expect a tough test when they face Bury in the Carling Cup second round.

The 26-year-old striker spent the first four years of his professional career with the Shakers and scored 20 goals in 102 appearances for the club. "They're playing well at the moment, so we will need to go there and perform and hopefully I can be involved," Nugent told Leicester's official website. "It's a decent ground, they don't get too many fans because of some of the big clubs around them, but the fans they do get are great and they'll create a good atmosphere. "It's where it all started for me, I made my debut for Bury when I was 16 and I had four great years there so, if I'm in the squad, it's a game to look forward to. "I had four great years there and they got money from the transfer when I moved from Preston to Portsmouth, which I hope has stood them in good stead."
