Striker set to make debut against Bradford

Hereford United have signed Watford's promising striker Lewis Young on an initial month-long loan deal. Young has made four senior appearances during his Hornets career to date, but he has not featured for the Championship club since Boxing Day 2008. The 20-year-old, who is the younger brother of Aston Villa winger Ashley, has now been allowed out to build up his first-team experience. He will go straight into the Hereford squad for Saturday's League Two game at home to Bradford City and chairman Graham Turner is happy with the signing. "He's a very quick striker or wide player, he can score goals and we're delighted to have him here," Turner told the club's official website. "His attitude has been great, we've not had to convince him to come here, he's jumped at the chance to join us."
