Bury manager Chris Casper has tied down three key players to long-term contracts at Gigg Lane.
Defender Dave Challinor and midfielders Paul Scott and Brian Barry-Murphy have all agreed new contracts at the club.
Casper has spoken of his delight at securing the trio following interest from a number of clubs in higher leagues.
"They're big players for us. Scott was almost ever-present, Chally played every game and Murphy played in every game apart from a spell out with a knee injury," he said.
"They were all very consistent performers and what's pleasing is that they've had interest from clubs in higher divisions that they've turned down to stay.
"They've put down a marker and shown their loyalty."
Meanwhile, the Bury boss has confirmed that goalkeepers Neil Edwards and Craig Dootson and strikers Jon Newby and Steve Burke have not been offered new deals.
"We've got to move on and freshen things up a bit. They weren't part of my plans but they're all good pros and I'm sure they'll get fixed up," Casper added.
