Bury are in the market for a new goalkeeper after losing Craig Dootson for the rest of the season with a broken arm.
The former Stalybridge Celtic custodian sustained the fracture to his left arm during Saturday's goalless home draw with Barnet.
With Neil Edwards weeks away from full fitness with a shoulder problem, it leaves The Shakers with youngster Aaron Grundy as their only fit custodian.
Shakers boss Chris Casper admitted he will look into the market for another keeper after losing Dootson.
"If he is out, then we will have to go out and get a keeper," Casper told the club's official website.
"I have no problems starting with Aaron Grundy, but we will need a keeper for the bench and at this stage of the season, we will need a bit of experience as well."
