Mansfield midfielder Giles Coke has signed a contract until the end of next season.Mansfield Town midfielder Giles Coke has signed a contract until the end of next season with the League Two club.
The deal is with an option for another year, thus handing the former Kingstonian player a chance of playing full-time football at Field Mill.
"My parents were on holiday when I came to Mansfield Town, so it was a real shock to them having watched me play at one club then being at another just a week later," Coke told the club's official website.
"They were pleased that I was to have a shot on the professional stage and I am delighted I have been made to feel most welcome by all the players, staff, management and fans and I hope to help get Mansfield promoted, if not this season, then next season."
Coke has been joined by Stags youth team skipper Chris Wood, who has also signed a professional deal until the end of next season with Carlton Palmer's side.
The youngster has already appeared in the first team this season and will aim to make more of an impact next term.
